Philip and Evelyn Ward

Pastors Phillip and Evelyn Ward were powerfully impacted by revival services that were sweeping the nation in 1994 through the ministry of Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. They have been active in ministry during that time including evangelism in the inner city, recording numerous worship albums, and founding The River at Jacksonville Church. Their passion is to see lives radically transformed as people experience the power of the Holy Spirit.

Phil and Evie are also great examples to married couples and families. They were married in 1985, have three sons (Jordan, Brandon, and Austin), two daughters-in-love (Alexis and Jennifer) and six grandchildren (Anna, James, Ayelet, Ava, Winslet, and Margo).

Evelyn taught kindergarten and elementary school for many years but has retired from the classroom to focus on her family and the ministry. In addition to ministry, Phil is a successful businessman serving in an executive role for a local healthcare organization for the last 20 years.

Pastors Phil and Evie are ordained with Revival Ministries International Ministerial Association under the leadership of Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. This association connects our local congregation with a world-wide ministry that is reaching tens of millions of people
